It helps them gain a better place in society and increases the chance of becoming empowered as a minority group in the nation. It gives the students/ pupils a chance to live a healthy and successful life. \n“My personal connection to this advocacy is that we all know that we have our brothers and sisters living a very hard life that they could only eat once a day. I want to help them by having this advocacy be known by other people\, to awaken then to help our fellow indigenous people”. \n“My dream community is very productive and helpful\, a kind of community that should be lifting each other down instead of dragging each other down. This includes education subsidy for the learners\, living allowance for volunteer teachers and staff\, supplies procurement\, and infrastructure development for the improvement of the school facilities. \n“I am singing for our IP Advocacy\, specifically our Education and Scholarship program for Indigenous children. As a working student and as a scholar myself\, I see the importance of education and I am aware that it is a basic right of every child. Access to this universal right remains a big challenge to many Indigenous children. SUMMARY:Christmas Giving Tree Campaign
DESCRIPTION:We Need to Make this Christmas Bright\n						\n					\n				\n			\n			\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				As we slowly emerge from the shadows of the Covid 19 pandemic\, we feel the devastating effects it had and continues to have – on economy and livelihood causing more people to lose jobs\, grow poorer\, hungrier;  on access to basic services in  health and education;  on exposing the great divide with those who have\, and those who have not; on setting back previous progress made on achieving the sustainable development goals; and many others.  For us to truly recover and put the pandemic behind us\, it is crucial that we make this Christmas brighter and more meaningful by reaching out to help the many communities and people in need. \nSpring Rain Global invites you to the launch of our last quarter advocacy\, fundraising\, and solidarity campaign on October 1\, 8PM\, at the Spring Rain Global facebook page or via zoom. \n			\n				\n				\n				\n			\n			\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				JOIN THE LAUNCHING HERE\n			\n			\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n					\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				This campaign will serve as a platform for PDOs and other participating institutions to showcase their advocacies and social impact.  Every Saturday we will highlight a particular advocacy and the efforts the participating PDOs and institutions are doing and the communities they have benefited and will continue to help because of their work. \n			\n				\n				\n				\nOct 01 – Campaign Launching with SRG\nOct 08 – Environment and Climate Change\nOct 15 – Indigenous People\nOct 22 – Vocation & Formation\nOct 29 – Youth Development\nNov 05 – Education & Scholarships\nNov 12 – Health & Well-Being\nNov 19 – Music\, Sports\, Culture & the Arts\nNov 26 – Capacity Building\nDec 03 – Homeless and Vulnerable (Global Sleep Out at San Roque Parish – Subangdaku\, Mandaue City\, Cebu)\n\n			\n				\n				\n				Join us on Saturday\, Oct 1\, 8pm (via zoom)  as we launch this campaign and put up our Christmas Giving Tree wherein every decor will symbolize a life-giving gift to those who need to experience the miracle this season brings. \n			\n			\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				We welcome more PDOs and other development oriented\, social purpose organizations to join us in this campaign! In this bootcamp\, SRG aims to: \n\nHelp its clients expand their network and raise funds\, supporters\, and other resources necessary to continue serving communities in need.\nHelp its clients to become more focused\, confident\, and better equipped to connect and maintain relationships with their donors.\nEnable its client to stay true to their visions\, scale up in their missions\, and impact more beneficiaries.\n\nThis bootcamp will kick-off a coaching journey with the participating organizations\, providing customized coaching for their particular needs and context. It will be facilitated by SRG’s international team of highly experienced professionals in the development\, philanthropic\, and financial planning sectors who will take the participants through the Spring Rain Global 6-Pillar Capacitation Model©.  \n			\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				Below are the details of the Bootcamp: \nSchedule: Every Thursday starting November 3 to December (Friday)\, 2022 \nBootcamp Platform: Zoom Meeting \nRegistration Fee: The fee per PDO is at Php 45\,000.00 or Php 7\,500 per week. DESCRIPTION:MAKE YOUR SLEEP COUNT\n			\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				REGISTER HERE\n			\n			\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				In June\, Prince William celebrated his birthday by visiting a homeless shelter. “I was 11 when I first visited a homeless shelter with my mother\, who in her own inimitable style was determined to shine a light on an overlooked\, misunderstood problem.”  \nHomelessness continues to be a social and economic indicator of poverty. According to the Office of the High Commissioner on Human Rights\, “Experiencing homelessness means not having stable\, safe and adequate housing\, nor the means and ability of obtaining it.” Homelessness is rooted in many factors\, a symptom that holds all sectors of society at fault. While many in society remain blind to the suffering of the homeless\, we must strive to bring this issue to the forefront of public awareness.   \n			\n				\n				\n				On December 3\, 2022\, be among the 5\,000 sleepers who will join The Global Sleep Out which aims to raise funds to support members of the Spring Rain Global Ecosystem of Good and their projects for the homeless and the vulnerable in the Philippines and India. \nThe main program of The Global Sleep Out will be hosted by San Roque Parish in Subangdaku\, Mandaue City\, while simultaneous Sleep Out programs will happen on different locations such as in Payatas\, Quezon City and in General Santos in Mindanao.  \nHere are two ways for you to join: \n\nRegister to be a participant sleeper. Participants will sleep out or sleep rough\, away from the comfort of their own beds\, in solidarity with those who had been forced by life’s circumstances to be homeless.\nDonate to the nine participating philanthropic development offices.
