SUMMARY:Global Sleep Out 2024
DESCRIPTION:Join Us for the Global Sleep Out 2024!\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Experience a Night Under the Stars\n Imagine a night where the warmth of community and compassion envelops you\, as we unite to stand in solidarity with those who face the harsh reality of homelessness every day. This December 7\, we invite you to join us for the Global Sleep Out 2024—a night where your sleep can truly make a difference! \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Why Your Participation Matters\n Homelessness is not just a statistic; it is a heartbreaking reality for millions around the world. It is a profound indicator of poverty\, revealing the struggles of individuals and families who lack stable\, safe\, and adequate housing. According to the United Nations\, an estimated 100 million people were homeless as of 2005\, and this number continues to rise. Each statistic represents a life filled with uncertainty\, fear\, and longing for a place to call home. \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n At Spring Rain Global\, we believe that together\, we can shine a light on this pressing issue and work towards eradicating poverty in all its forms. By participating in the Global Sleep Out\, you will join thousands of compassionate souls willing to sacrifice the comfort of their beds to raise awareness and funds for those in need. \n \n \n \n let my sleep count\n \n \n \n \n \n \n A Special Movie for a Cause\n As part of our program on December 7\, we are excited to present a special screening of A Thousand Forests—a 2024 Philippine coming-of-age musical film. Follow five teenagers as they join the Philippine Forest Camp\, discovering their strengths and passions while confronting various environmental issues. This film beautifully illustrates the connection between environmental challenges and homelessness\, reminding us that a healthy environment is crucial for sustainable living conditions. \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n What to Bring?\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Let Your Sleep Count\n Your participation is not just an act of solidarity; it is a beacon of hope for those who are struggling. SUMMARY:1 Dollar per Day Campaign
DESCRIPTION:1 Dollar per Day for 100 Days\n Spring Rain Global’s 4th QuarterAdvocacy\, Fund Raising\, and Solidarity CampaignSeptember 16 to December 24\, 2023 \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n OVERVIEW OF THE CAMPAIGN\n Giving is a fundamental part of human behavior and societal culture. Countless initiatives have been created to serve others in need. Thousands of philanthropic development organizations\, religious congregations\, non-profits\, and other similar institutions have been established for the sole purpose of giving. These givers may have an unwavering sense of purpose to serve\, but their ability to give is always challenged\, especially by limited fundings and constant supporters. Who will help sustain these giving organizations for them to continue doing their missions consistently? \nSpring Rain Global\, a social enterprise that envisions to be the leading global partner towards a sustainable ecosystem among donors and donees\, will launch its 4th quarter advocacy\, fund raising and solidarity campaign called “1 Dollar per Day for 100 Days” which will run from September 16 to December 24\, 2023. SRG aims to help organizations to leverage on Christmas season\, the best time of the year\, to encourage giving among individuals and organizations. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n CAMPAIGN OBJECTIVES\n The 1 Dollar per Day campaign aims to:  \n1. Raise awareness. The 1 Dollar a Day fund raising campaign will serve as a platform for SRG’s Ecosystem of Good and other participating organizations to showcase the advocacies that they support and the social impact that they create \n2. Ignite generosity. Through the campaign\, Spring Rain Global aims to help raise funds and resources that are necessary to enable the participating organizations to continue in serving the communities in need. SUMMARY:7th Asian Philanthropic Development Conference 2023

These challenges require strong and powerful solutions. Acting in silos in our individual organizations and individual nations is not enough. A louder and stronger call for unity\, solidarity\, and collective action is evidently needed. \nA louder and stronger call for a better world is only possible if we work collaboratively\, in unity and solidarity. While we each have our own goals\, unique visions and missions\, and as we champion different advocacies\, we are all working for a better\, just\, more humane\, more livable society. In alignment with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 17–revitalizing the global partnership for sustainable development–the APDC7 will highlight the ecosystem approach to address global issues. \nFor the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic\, this year’s Asian Philanthropic Development Conference will be held in person. By attending\, participants will have  the opportunity to listen to and engage with featured experts\, development practitioners\, and philanthropists as they discuss how to respond as one global community to the world’s pressing issues\, innovate solutions\, and supercharge impact. The event will also provide\, particularly Philippine-based participants\, access to the same great content as previous conferences at less the logistical costs. \nThe 7th Asian Philanthropic Development Conference provides a platform for amazing opportunities for camaraderie and collaboration as organizations learn from and connect with one another about their experiences\, insights\, challenges\, and best practices; create and activate partnerships and linkages while building together a strategic ecosystem. \nREGISTER NOW for the 7th Asian Philanthropic Development Conference happening on July 24-26\, 2023 in Cebu City\, Philippines and get virtual seats to the pre-event Leadership Forum on July 1. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Join us for three days of insightful discussions on the following topics: \nDay 1: The Value Of Philanthropy Support Ecosystem \nDay 2: Enabling Collaboration in an Ecosystem of Good to Facilitate Access to Resources \nDay 3: Building Capacities: Essential for a Stronger Collaboration \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Meet our keynote speakers\n \n \n \n Day 1\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Fr. SUMMARY:Global Sleep Out 2022
DESCRIPTION:MAKE YOUR SLEEP COUNT\n \n \n \n \n \n REGISTER HERE\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n In June\, Prince William celebrated his birthday by visiting a homeless shelter. “I was 11 when I first visited a homeless shelter with my mother\, who in her own inimitable style was determined to shine a light on an overlooked\, misunderstood problem.”  \nHomelessness continues to be a social and economic indicator of poverty. According to the Office of the High Commissioner on Human Rights\, “Experiencing homelessness means not having stable\, safe and adequate housing\, nor the means and ability of obtaining it.” Homelessness is rooted in many factors\, a symptom that holds all sectors of society at fault. While many in society remain blind to the suffering of the homeless\, we must strive to bring this issue to the forefront of public awareness.   \n \n \n \n On December 3\, 2022\, be among the 5\,000 sleepers who will join The Global Sleep Out which aims to raise funds to support members of the Spring Rain Global Ecosystem of Good and their projects for the homeless and the vulnerable in the Philippines and India. \nThe main program of The Global Sleep Out will be hosted by San Roque Parish in Subangdaku\, Mandaue City\, while simultaneous Sleep Out programs will happen on different locations such as in Payatas\, Quezon City and in General Santos in Mindanao.  \nHere are two ways for you to join: \n\nRegister to be a participant sleeper. Participants will sleep out or sleep rough\, away from the comfort of their own beds\, in solidarity with those who had been forced by life’s circumstances to be homeless.\nDonate to the nine participating philanthropic development offices. Your donations will be used to fund their programs for the homeless in the Philippines and India.\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n REGISTER NOW
