Introduction to Fundraising: Achieve your 2022 Funding Goals
2022 is off to a rough start. Many communities in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao are still reeling from the devastating effects of Typhoon Odette/Rai which struck the Philippines a few days before Christmas; while the latest variant of Covid-19 is again delaying economic recovery. It is getting more difficult for social purpose organizations to raise much needed funds for their advocacies with many crises competing for the donor’s limited attention and resources.
Despite these realities, however, we believe that our projects with our beneficiaries and communities remain important. It is crucial that we continue to give the same, if not increased, level of assistance to our communities. Religious congregations, church organizations, civic associations, and other social purpose organizations need to be able to navigate and be more creative in our resource generation strategies.
Spring Rain Global invites you to a special learning session on INTRODUCTION TO FUNDRAISING: ACHIEVE YOUR 2022 FUNDING GOALS. Whether you belong to an organization new to raising funds or just wanting to get new ideas to jumpstart your creativity, this learning session will help you –
- Learn about the Donor Development Process – from Donor Solicitation, Acquisition, Cultivation, Retention. How to relate to different donors depending on their stage or level in the process, and the different strategies you can use to move from one stage to the next? What is Stewardship? How do we highlight spirituality in stewardship to create more lasting donor relationships?
- Knowing who to Approach – Mapping your Prospects. How do you know who to approach for your year-end fundraising strategies? Who are your internal and external constituents? What is the difference of warm and cold fundraising and how do you calibrate your approach to warm and cold prospects to achieve your goals?
- Fundraising in the New Normal – the pandemic has changed the landscape of philanthropy. For one thing, it accelerated the shift to a more virtual way of meeting and connecting with donors. How prepared is your organization to accept digital donations? Learn about creative ways fundraising events are transitioning to virtual and the opportunities and challenges you may encounter.
INTRODUCTION TO FUNDRAISING: ACHIEVE YOUR 2022 FUNDING GOALS is scheduled on February 18, 3pm, Philippine time, via zoom. Cost of registration is Php1,500 with an option for follow-up and more intensive one-on-one coaching sessions.
We look forward to your positive reply. For any questions or inquiries, you may get in touch with Ms. Cheryl Tradio at +63 923 328 3318 or cheryl@springrain.the.ph.
