How to do Year-End Fundraising

The end of the year is usually the single-best fundraising opportunity for most nonprofits. 36% of all annual charitable donations take place in the last three months of the year, with 20% of the contributions occurring in December.

Given these statistics, it is imperative for social purpose organizations to know the techniques they can use to maximize their year-end resource generation strategies.

Whether you are an organization new to raising funds or just wanting to get new ideas to jumpstart your creativity for this season, this three-part workshop series will help you –

  1. Learn about the Donor Development Process – from Donor Solicitation, Acquisition, Cultivation, Retention. How to relate to different donors depending on their stage or level in the process, and the different strategies you can use to move from one stage to the next? What is Stewardship?  How do we highlight spirituality in stewardship to create more lasting donor relationships?
  2. Knowing who to Approach – Mapping your Prospects. How do you know who to approach for your year-end fundraising strategies?  Who are your internal and external constituents?  What is the difference of warm and cold fundraising and how do you calibrate your approach to warm and cold prospects to achieve your goals?
  3. Fundraising in the New Normal – the pandemic has changed the landscape of philanthropy. For one thing, it accelerated the shift to a more virtual way of meeting and connecting with donors.  How prepared is your organization to accept digital donations?  Learn about creative ways fundraising events are transitioning to virtual and the opportunities and challenges you may encounter.

How to do Year-End Fundraising is a special 3-part workshop that will run on October 29, November 12, and November 26, 3:00pm, Philippine Standard Time, via Zoom.  Each session will cost $45, with a special 10% discount if attending all three.  Training cost includes a one-on-one coaching session to guide you as you implement what you have learned for your year-end fundraising activities in your organization.
